I am the savior of the poor. Do ye, oh, poor! who have experienced the heaviness of rich men's hands, drink from my wells the waters of the doctrine of salvation, and ye may do this joyfully; for the time of your visitation is at hand. For I will divide the waters from the waters. The people are the waters. I will divide the humble from the haughty and treacherous. I will separate the elect from the reprobate, as light from darkness.
    William Fitz Osbert (1196)

until the poor have absolutley nothing left to loose no upraising will come.

also the problem is that in the franch revolution for example the army and people who were supposed to be defending the monarchy also were part of the uprising

unless something drastic changes I cannot see the armed forces rising up against the rules of any first world country.

History suggest that this is true for a professional as opposed to conscript army.

Here's a view on pitchforks from an old school Tory:

Give them social reform or they will give you social revolution.
