As does Great Britain include the Channel Islands, even though they're not in the UK.
Great Britain is simply the name of the largest of the British Isles, so doesn't include the Channel Islands.
Although I'm not sure how that gets around islands such as the Isle of Wight and the Outer Hebrides, which aren't included separately in the definition of the UK.Comment
