I know this isn't Pistonheads, but I am struggling to see how one could spend £50k on a sub 90g/km car.

It was actually for the plug in hybrid version of the Volvo V60. Of course, you could spend even more on that new Porsche.

I think what he said was "Buy one of these through the business and you won't have to pay any corporation tax at all for x long", but I'd stopped listening by that point, as I'd already said several times that I wasn't buying a "new" car for a while yet, and even then it'd be secondhand.
