I think Israel is the one place it wont be able to fly into without being shot down. At least they look at their radar, unlike India

    Meanwhile the plot thickens...

Please don't take my favourite city out, Suity?

I'm looking forward to my next visit sans fallout and with the Bauhaus "White City" still intact...

Assuming this plane has been stolen, it has to be a fairly well backed operation as it's not like you can land a 777 just anywhere. Searching satellite photos of every mile long runway in the vicinity isn't going to take that long, surely.

Another alternative is that it flew on until crashing I suppose.

I concur. Fairly well backed == government operation.

James Bond stuff. Which government though?

                  According to our favourite rag:

According to a map drawn up by U.S. radio station WNYC, there are 634 locations which could fit, from Australia to the Maldives to Pakistan.
However, the true number is likely to be even higher, as estimates of how far the plane could have travelled have been increased since the calculations were carried out.

If the plane has been landed it must be absolute torture for the poor Chinese passengers not having working mobile phones.
