FTFY. A lot of places where this is sort of thing is the norm have civilizations that predate ours by some considerable margin and it's only really the last 50-100 years or so where animal welfare and humane slaughter has been on our radar. Lets not forget it wasn't so long ago we had BSE due to intensive farming practices and feeding waste parts of cattle back into the food chain.

Not saying I agree with the practices, and I don't think objecting to them is antisemitic, I just disagree with you.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

Yes, and I'm just as strongly opposed to factory farming as I am ritual slaughter.

But, just because those things are bad doesn't make halal/kosher right though.

We all need to be eating a lot less meat to be honest. I don't think it's possible to feed all the mouths with meat in a humane, compassionate manner.

I never said it was, in fact I don't agree with them, it was your narrow minded definition of civilization as the last 50 years in western Europe I objected to.

Anyway in Britain people tend not to try and be openly antisemitic. Posters on here are one of the exceptions.
That's a logical as claiming people who claim people to be anti-Semitic for not liking ritual slaughter of animals are racist
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

for the record, I'm not racist in any shape or form. all humans are equal. however, I strongly object to any mistreatment of animals. animals also have a desire for happiness and indeed I never intentionally kill even flies - bad karma.
