I think you're wrong there. It WILL get ugly, not 'could'. It will be very ugly because the Ukrainian public are standing up to Vlad Putin, who will probably slaughter them.

Trouble is half of the Ukraine is inhabited by Russians. Its not a simple Russians are evil thing. The BBC tells us that innocent protestors are being hurt. While Russia Today shows clips of balaclava clad thugs beating up riot policemen.

      The truth? both? neither?

These things never are simple; that's one reason why I said it's going to get ugly. But you're right; I should have said 'part of the Ukrainian public' are standing up to Vlad Putin.

So much for the EU preventing WW3

At this rate, in a month we'll be picking through post-WW3 rubble hunting rats to roast over a fire (if we're lucky)

Europhiles say nationalism starts wars. Therefore they want to abolish the old nations but then create a new nation called Europe.

So we can have a new round of wars. Europe vs Russia vs China vs USA.

                    So it goes.....

True, why can't we go back to the old fashioned regional wars such as London vs Northern Ireland?
