Define "wrong"? There's nothing wrong IMO with breaking the speed limit when it's safe to do so, or possessing cannabis, to pick two examples. But you could be prosecuted for both of those. If the motorway speed limit was ever raised to 80mph, does that mean anybody who was ever caught at 70-80 would get an apology and their conviction overturned?
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

He chose chemical castration. The punsihment at the time was imprisonment, or by choice probation and chemical castration.

You can't rewrite history, they should have just left him unpardoned as that was the law at the time.
...my quagmire of greed....my cesspit of laziness and unfairness....all I am doing is sticking two fingers up at nurses, doctors and other hard working employed professionals...

The pardon only means he has been forgiven. The conviction etc still stands. Were he alive the sentence would also be forgiven.

Yeah because being chucked in prison or castrated for who you are is the same as speeding.

Nope. Lots of those people are still alive and doing that that could open the doors to financial redress.

Best to stick to a cheap public relations gimmick

That's a silly argument. There isn't a league table of what crimes should be pardoned every time in history there was a law change.

What's done is done. Turing has never been criticised by anyone outside the establishment for his gayness. He is considered a great man in our history. I'd rather remember that.

What about Nazi laws which were laws at the time? This isn't much different really.
