Now, now lads... don't be hasty... For all we know it could be fundamentalist Yorkshire people plotting to kill as many Brits, Yanks, Westerners and non-Yorkshire people as possible. Or maybe the Cornish? They are forever plotting down there in the West.

BAA website says all BAA airports remain open. BBC says otherwise. I suspect the BBC knows the BAA's arse from their elbow.Comment

Boy from Liberal party just on Sky News having a go at "all fundamentalists" - see, it is those Yorkshire boys we have to worry about. Everyone always blames Islamic people for wanting us to live in some knid of dark ages from a 1,000 plus years ago but it is those yorkshire pudding boys and girls that are the main threat... glad to see the Libs have the courage to nearly say so?Comment

You lot are making me nervous, I am presently resident deep in Yorkshire.
Should I make a strategic withdrawel (ohh er missus) or should I tough it out?
As a Lancastrian I have never felt safe here and now this terror threat raises it's head.I am not qualified to give the above advice!

Has everyone dug out that little blue book that the government had sent to all UK homes?
Full of invaluable advise that was...
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave JohnsonComment

FK I was in Heathrow just 2 days ago!!!
Now seriously if this turns out to be true (ie convictions will follow) then Special Services did a very good job for which they should be congratulated. Notice how they did it without ID cards.Comment

I doubt you have anything to worry about. Even if a big stack of dynamite with curly bits of wire was left outside the gates to Buckingham Palace - complete with photographs of well-known Yorkshire people plus numerous flat caps, Yorkshire puddings and a handwritten note saying that the bomb was from Yorkshire and that the aim of it was to kill as many non Yorkshire people as possible - large sections of the British Media and British politicians would still say say that the real issue is not that Yorkshire people are barkingly dangerous but that it is all the fault of the rest of us for, ahem, being British and wishing to lilve in a tolerant, free and democratic society where eating of Yorkshire puddings was not obligatory.

I think it’s Danelaw separatists planning an assault on Mercia and Wessex. Is Ethelred ready for it?"A people that elect corrupt politicians, imposters, thieves and traitors are not victims, but accomplices," George OrwellComment
