You will want a proper trainer tire, normal ones will shred rubber and disintegrate remarkably quickly.
    Linky?

Also can trainer tyre be used on the road? Or do I need a new wheel as well?

I think I had some Turbo trainers back in the 70s. I'm sure they had a stripe, and velcro instead of laces.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

I doubt they have the one I have any more, it's about 15 years old. Tyres are trainer only, so you might want a second wheel.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

                  WHS.

Use mine only in the winter due to tulip weather but keep cycling, normally do an hour or so an evening.

Mine is a tacx sirus from about a decade ago.

For £100 go straight into the 2nd hand market, rollers or even a basic exercise bike are cheaper.
Dont use the turbo tyre on the road, it has no grip/tread. Easier to buy a dedicated turbo wheel. Consider a front wheel stabiliser and a fan and some turbo CDs: spinervals, sufferfest ....

                    What are you aiming for?

                    Edit: bingo,
