0.5 miles from CH assuming that's where we do end up - HyperD has volunteered to ring them.

      £130 - 10% off (£117) if you book with Expedia's mobile (cr)app and use code MOBILEEXCLUSIVE10

(There is a MOBILE20FIRST for £20 off your first booking, but it didn't work for me - probably because it's not my first booking...)
We won't mention how you had to change your plans to match mine once you found out where I was staying

I'm going to see if my wife wants to have a weekend in London and the Travelodge allow dogs, so we'll see. If not then I might copy you guys.

I guess I should say, if my wife does want a weekend in London then she'd bring our dog along, I'm not being rude.

            Helicobacter Pylori.

The guy who discovered it, infected himself by drinking a solution with it on and then cured himself by taking a series of treatments of anti and probiotics ( it was called triple therapy). You can get treatment for it.

As for the xmas do, I'll have to organise a cloggers bash instead, doubt I'll be in the UK this year.

Have fun, hopefully you can get the back room as we always did, btw they may try and stiff you for a deposit, I got out of it by telling them we never paid one any time we booked in the past.

              Which back room though?

Last time I never managed to find the panel in the wall one had to press to open the secret door to the room

Or do you mean the large upstairs room overlooking the outside area behind the pub (where we watched from the window as Suity handed out £20 notes to homeless people) ?

We'll send you detailed instructions, plus mobile phone numbers in case of emergency, once we've booked.

That's the usual room, we used to get. The CH is usually packed this time of year, so the only way to get that room is to mention that you will be eating but not the set xmas menu.
