    Spent a couple of weeks on a Welsh farm for the family hols one summer when I was about 7.

    That was the other side of the Severn Estuary, and just as muddy as I recall. Good fun though.

      We went a little further north - away from prying eyes. Don't think it's particularly PC to black up these days - even in Bristol Channel sludge.
