Kick Ass 2 was good if you liked the first one.

Also enjoyed Cloud Atlas - excellent.

Pacific Rim was a good bit of fun and a nice homage to all the old Gojira movies.

One of my favourite lesser known films is Super. Shut up crime!

I watched Elysium a few days ago. Rubbish. The director obv has just one message and one way to express it, which he did in District 9. This additional film is pointless, and even without District 9, just not very good. Easy money for Jodie Foster. I hope Matt Damon was very well paid.

On the other hand, Olympus Has Fallen gets some quite bad reviews on IMDB but I enjoyed it. It's a shoot-em-up with a high body count in the style of Die Hard (one man saves the day). Recommended.

I'm 50/50 on Kick Ass 2. It wasn't very good (IMO) but not a steaming pile!

Watched Cloud Atlas over Christmas, thoroughly enjoyed it. One of the best films I've seen in a long time. Watched it again with the missus the other night and enjoyed it even more.

The whole film is just sub-standard to the first, apart from the Union-J scene, which is absolutly cringe inducingly bad. Turned a poor film into a complete turd sandwich.
