If the date is my suggestion and I chose the restaurant/event/yacht then I'm paying, usually while the lady is away powdering her nose or whatever it is they do. Nice if the next day is suggested and setup by them but really just down to however the dynamics of things work. Later on may go dutch with things but that's when its less of a date situation and more just mutually doing things together Pretty easy going about it all though, no must or mustn't do x, just go with politeness and the general vibe of things.
