There are some very rich criminals and murderers from Russia and Eastern Europe living in central London.
Yup and they need chauffeurs, nannies, cooks and cleaners. Where do those come from, your average Brit is not interested in a job unless there is a bankster style bonus as part of the pay packet.

IMO the best countrys to live in have policies that link immigration to how much money you have got.
I don't think you can judge it on money alone. Language, culture, good character and willingness to integrate are very important too. More and more countries are emphasising this these days...
Also remember that a lot of countries need low paid workers to do the menial jobs (building, cleaning, bus conducting, street sweeping etc) that the locals aren't willing to do too.

That happened to the UK in the 50s. Maybe they should have been on temporary visas.
