A little harsh even by my standards.Originally posted by suityou01 View PostIt was me. I suggested when I'm back in blighty we meet up for a beer should I secure a gig in London (where I presume he works).
This was done after a flurry of PMs from Simon trying to offer advice about my friend having a torrid time at the moment.
I was being nice. Rather than accept or decline or make an aloof comment, this thread was started.
Going by SASGuru's comment about the PM's being bandied about at the moment it would seem this suggestion was something of much mirth to the esteemed CUKer who is probably throwing all my PMs to the CUK hyenas as we speak.
Suffice it to say I think maybe anyone that insecure would not make for a good beer buddy.
Practically perfect in every way....there's a time and (more importantly) a place for malarkey.
