    You miss it don't you?

Come Sunday everybody and their dog is out about walking, participating in some family activity or in the beer garden.

        Cash is king here.
I pay on a card in a resturant here, without any filthy looks.

You do remember to give TrinkGeld don't you?

Never more than 10%, and only if they've earned it.

Can't speak for other cities, but Munich remains very much cash & coin based.

This was Berlin tho, back of beyond Dresdner Bank corner of Sophie Charlotte Platz, Charlottenburg - funny how you remember not being able to get in....

Loved it though, me and the missus will go back one day - she is an interpreter/translator in German and it's all a bit wasted working in Bradford albeit for a German company....

Loved Berlin tho - shame there;s no jobs...

Berlin is booming, there's loads more jobs these days.

Stepstone is always a good place to start looking. And forgot linkedIn, in Germany it's Xing.

There is de.linkedin.com and I get more German contacts from that than Xing. Xing is okay but gulp is much better, just typing in AIX and berlin gives you over 1500 jobs. There's even a jobserve.de. There are some excellent lowkey contractor sites in Germany where you'll find some very niche projects as well.
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

Dusseldorf is a good spot to be too, with Koln nearby, you could even get the train to London.
