Just come back from holiday and this is not news I really wanted to hear.

One one hand we are banging on about extremism and on the other hand we are supporting terrorists with the same ideology in Syria. We should be supporting Asad and not the "rebels"!

If the Syrian people don't want the dictator Assad then why should we support him?

The media tells us the Syrian people don't want Assad - our media is incredibly biased believe it or not! The media wants to portray a black and white picture of everything but things are from from black and white. Firstly there are a lot who support Assad. Secondly there are a lot who are against him, then there are huge numbers who fear the consequences of a Taliban like group forcing itself into power (look at Egypt and Libya).

Assad is poisoning his own people - You want to be part of that?

I'd, personally, leave them to their own devices. There's too many people on earth as it is, as these kind of affairs are the worlds natural order sorting itself out.
