The court order which was made in England specifically states that I only have to inform her of “any change to salary within one month of notification from your employer”. Nothing about proof, nor regular frequency to supply it.

I run my own company and do the usual thing, unremarkable salary, high dividends, all documented etc etc.

My ex is French, now living permanently abroad.
Advice? 2 things to remember: I must brush off the ex with the minimum of fuss (otherwise she will re-engage her rottweiler solicitor who will commence the mother of all financial fishing trips), and I cannot afford to let her know about my company.
P.S. For any smart-arse moralists out there, I pay the ex a pretty healthy slice as it is, so no holier-than-thou toss from you please.
There is a big miscomprehension about limited companies. YOU don’t need to be a director to control the company. It is the shareholders who own and control the company. I would suggest ether start up another limiter company or resign from the current one. Keep the majority of the shares and appoint a good trusted friend as a director. Once you are off the company record, (uses a postal drop or rented office for an address) get your payslips made out to whatever is convenient. Your are then officially employed but you have control of the company. If you wish to make the trail longer, you can buy a second company in order to purchase the shares of your contracting company. Also the company name does not have to resemble the trade., so for example you could do contracting under a company called “Wigan Fruit and Veg Supplies”. One of my companies sounds like an umbrella company and this really confuses agents.

Demand to see her payslips, ensuring you are earning less than her, then threaten to go to court to demand a slice of her income!

            There, problem solved

Move in next door to her in her new country of residence.
UK maintenance laws will probably not be enforcable and you are already divorced so local law wont do anything. Then commute to work in the UK.
I am not qualified to give the above advice!
