    there are 3 criteria:
    - must be fish based
    - nothing too spicy
    - should be easily scalable to 10 people

Alternatively, any other recipe ideas for 10 people are also much appreciated for future reference
    Open 10 tins of tuna?

Not sure what would go with it - Rice perhaps?

Kraken. Lovely taste, needs to be cooked for a few hours as it can be quite tough, bit difficult to catch though.

Pan fried whole Sea Bass with garlic sauce and potatoes. Make sure that the fish is intact with head and eyes etc. Makes a great dinner party course since you can then squeeze out the eye balls and squirt it all over. Love it !

Are you seriously suggesting chef cooks Zeity's cousin?

            Trout en papillote?

Trout fillets, tarragon, mushrooms, julienned carrots, butter, seasoning, noilly Prat or white wine. Either wrap in baking parchment or tin foil.

              Indian Mustardseed Fish

Prep: 20 min Cook: 15 min

              Serves 4
Any sort of sustainable cod, haddock, halibut or organic farmed salmon is good for this

700g thick white fish fillets, skinned
              1 tbsp finely grated ginger
              2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 long green chilli, finely sliced
              1 tsp turmeric powder
              1 tsp salt
              2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tbsp panch phoron (Indian 5 spice)
              1 extra tbsp mustard seeds
              2 tomatoes, finely chopped
              200ml water or stock
              1 tsp ground cumin
              Pinch cayenne
              Half-tsp sugar
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves

METHOD: Cut the fish into bite-sized chunks. Pound the ginger, garlic, chilli, turmeric and salt to a paste.

Heat the oil in a frying pan. When hot, add the panch phoron and mustard seeds and stir until the seeds start to crackle. Add the ginger and garlic paste and cook gently, stirring, for three minutes. Add the fish pieces and tomatoes, tossing well to coat, then add the water or stock, cumin, cayenne and sugar, and bring to a simmer, stirring. Simmer gently for five or six minutes or until the fish is cooked. Scatter with coriander leaves and serve hot.

Serve with fresh chillies that you can add for heat

In two minds about that. Eventually decided that was gross.

                      Fish kebabs arabian style.

Mixture of lemon, olive oil, garlic, black pepper for the marinade. Spice it up a bit with some ground cumin and coriander seeds.

Nice with rice, shiraz salad and flatbread, and you can have dips, marinated prawns etc as starters.
