For me it's as good as it's been since before the financial crisis at the moment. Plenty of work if you're willing to travel and rates are unchanged.

Judging by the number of email newsletters I've been getting telling me how brilliant the contract market is, I'd say pretty terrible. The more they have to tell you it's good news, the worse it is.Comment

I get begging emails from agents every day. Quite a few speculative mails via Linkedin from the more resourceful HR (see what I did there) depts. in blue-chips.
No I'm not joking.
