Isreal vs Palestine - You Decide

Israel will annex the Jordan valley, ethnically cleanse it of Arabs, take the parts of the West Bank next to the underground water supplies, and then claim that they have created a fair two state solution despite having taken almost half the West Bank, including all of the best bits. America will agree. Britain and others will agree. The Palestinians will disagree. The Arab terrorists will continue killing innocent Israelis and a few soldiers, and Israel will continue killing lots of innocent Arabs, and a few terrorists.Comment

I think they've had enough time. Let's have a penalty shoot out to decide once and for all.Originally posted by ClownioIs this a world cup group I haven't heard of ?

glass table top time - it was only the americans holding the isralies back during gulf war 1, how can you negotiate with a palestinian leadership that sees terrorism and specifically human suicide bombs as legitimate political tools???Comment

How can you negotiate with an Israeli leadership that sees murder and maiming of innocent Palestinian men, women and children by the IDF as legitimate? Or forced ethnic cleansing, whereby Palestinians are forcibly evicted so that Jews can take their land? Or the beating up of Palestinians by the IDF for fun as documented by Jewish Israeli groups?Originally posted by chunkymonkeyglass table top time - it was only the americans holding the isralies back during gulf war 1, how can you negotiate with a palestinian leadership that sees terrorism and specifically human suicide bombs as legitimate political tools???
Both sides commit terrorist acts. The difference is that one dresses the terrorism up in mollifying language: Taking approrpriate millitary action againts terrorists = firing missiles into a crowded market place and killing bystanders including children.Comment

Britain and its sticky fingers overseas causes so many problems years after, the fact that the majority of the Arab world have/had agreed to "road map to peace" and to withdraw funding to terrorist groups (naimly hammas) and the fact that the UN and others have also withdrawn funding and support for Palestine points me in the direction of siding with the israles, if they were right surely their fellow arabs would be supporting them??
Just because both sides have used violence dosent mean they are right or wrong, its how they are perceived around the rest of the world that counts.Comment

Pity Israel has ignored the terms of the road map for peace. When Hamas and others held a ceasefire, it was Israel that twice broke it by killing their leaders. Not surprisingly the extremists then broke the cease fire. And Israel has continued to expand settlements, contrary to the agreements. So what incentives do the Palestinians have to be docile when Israel announces business as usual?Originally posted by chunkymonkeyBritain and its sticky fingers overseas causes so many problems years after, the fact that the majority of the Arab world have/had agreed to "road map to peace" and to withdraw funding to terrorist groups (naimly hammas) and the fact that the UN and others have also withdrawn funding and support for Palestine points me in the direction of siding with the israles, if they were right surely their fellow arabs would be supporting them??

BTW They have not withdrawn funding for Palestine. They have withdrawn funding for Hamas, the elected government. But if Israel had not been so oppressive, then the extremist loonies aka Hamas would not have won the elections.Comment
