I heard him on R4 this morning and thought it was pretty accurate comment. People are obsessed with food. I have a cousin who posts pictures of every dessert he eats on Facebook and a sister who allowed no other conversation over Christmas dinner apart from the food, where she bought it and how she cooked it, why she didnt cook something else blah blah.
