Sorry, I wasn't clear. Given the failings of so called responsible organisations over the Savile saga, similar activities are allowed to continue on an almost industrial scale for ostensibly the same reason as Savile's was allowed to continue - people too scared, it's the gummint innit etc etc.

That is what I cannot get my head around.

Jimmy Savile was well known to sue publications, threaten to and actually ruin the lives of those who reported him/spoke up against him. He use to spend Christmas with Thatcher, and we know that people were moved around in her government who were suspected paedos.

In regards to the local council executives AND police forces - I'm sure there are paedos amongst them who would join together and do the same. I know that the few perverted and criminal councillors in my local areas have be been brought to justice since this stuff has come out, so for them all to be obstructive means there must be more than a couple of them involved.
