What I wanted

What I was after was some help oin a business idea. It came from being a contractor and the fact that I used to be in online recruitment (not an agent -please no more on that!!).

I'd rather email or send it to people privately. I know a public discussion is the best way to get feedback but at the moment I'd rather it was not on public display and open to agencies especially reading it. I will forum it but at least let me get a few personal replies first so I can make sure it's formed before opening it out publicly.

And no way do I want email addresses or anything like that.

And I would like some more crap hurled at me for wanting to do something unusal

Now (without wanting to harp back ....) if I really was an agent phishing for contractor addresses would I be able to argue that whilst poor coding practice the best way to get the max speed out of 6510 was to put the look-up variable directly into the code. It turned an LDA relative into an LDA # (immediate)?

Now help me with my bloody business plan !!!

What I wanted

I was asking for some feedback on my business idea.

I've run an online business before (in recruitment but NOT an agency) and through IT contracting this year came up with a new idea.

I know posting publicly is best and will get better discussion but I would just rather avoid a fully public posting.

I can email you the idea, PM it dop anything you like - I'd just rather have a few one-one feedbacks to make sure the idea is sound before I submit it to public scrutiny (especially as this forum is not the most forgiving environment in the world !!).

Any help would be appreciated. I'll get you the info straight away if you're up for helping.
