That conversation above ^ is the same one I had with my colleague when my new water flosser gubbins was delivered to work.

Practically perfect in every way....there's a time and (more importantly) a place for malarkey.

We get people brushing their teeth all the time. I'd say 1/5 times I use the gents I see someone brushing their teeth.. heck, I even see folks shaving ahead of an evening out from time to time. I'm all for a healthy + clean looking/smelling workplace

How about people who eat their fecking breakfast cereal at work. Work Kitchens are starting to resemble the cereal Isle at Sainsburys FFS.Last edited by ZARDOZ; 23 September 2012, 22:34.Comment

I don't have a problem with it but I assumed it was because people smoked. A decent rinse with Listerine in the morning seems to last me all day....my quagmire of greed....my cesspit of laziness and unfairness....all I am doing is sticking two fingers up at nurses, doctors and other hard working employed professionals...

I do it nowadays, but I have bad teeth.
In Canada this was common place, but they used those chewy toothbrush things you often see in vending machine (inside plastic balls).Comment

Did you get your oral jetwash? Any good? Taken your eye out yet?Originally posted by OwlHoot View PostGreat find - I've just ordered one. But what happens if you accidently squirt it in your eye, or up your nose?
Should I get one?Comment

Where I work they provide free cereal/bread/tea/coffee. And a very cheap lunch! Saves me a fortune....Originally posted by ZARDOZ View PostHow about people who eat their fecking breakfast cereal at work. Work Kitchens are starting to resemble the cereal Isle at Sainsburys FFS.Comment

I don't get it...what's the problem with brushing your teeth after a meal? it's not like we (they) are doing it in the desk, but in the bathroom...I'd rather see some dry toothpaste in the sink than p1ss on the toilet seat/floor...Comment

Cats LOVE toothpaste for some reason! I had a cat back in Spain that used to get mental about it, he was funny :-)Originally posted by Gentile View PostNah, that's not embarrassing. The really embarrassing bit is when my cat has to accompany me for my ablutions* :

* She sits up next to my bathroom mirror every morning and evening whilst I'm brushing my teeth. If she doesn't notice me starting my routine until I'm half way through, I get told off for starting without her. If she ever finds out I brush my teeth at work, I'll be in trouble!Comment
