Because quite simply a single person is smart, a group of people are dumb!

Like the Atos witch hunt, I keep seeing posters and comments about Atos sponsoring the paralympics whilst assessing the disabled for the DWP despite the fact they've been sponsoring the Olympics and Paralympics sine 2002.

Shouldn't they be targeting the paymasters rather than the stooges? It's not as if it's their core business.

My lunchtime rabid musings led me to this question.

Given that there are more people than elite, more people than big corporates and people power is not used to it's fullest extent, why is there not a site organising global boycotts of stuff?

Imagine the power we could wield. Moving markets, driving down prices. Scary stuff.

Global peasants revolt? Why has this not yet happened?

I was stupid enough to think that the Occupy movement would trigger this and sacrificed a good 6 months earnings to the cause ...

It has happened historically, but I reckon that marketing and indoctrination has got to a point that we just cant compete with. The masses are conditioned.
