I used to think judges were daft but I was wrong. The problem is that many judges are part time practicing QCs therefore they usually have a vested interest in which way a case goes. Judges are usually well aware that they have made a bad or even the totally wrong decision, but someone will be gaining from it ether directly indirectly such as when costly appeals are launched.

Corruption in the judiciary is rife.

So rather than being a gunman on the rampage shooting indiscriminately, it appears that everyone (except the original target of the gunman) was shot by the police

It's a trend with Fox News etc.
Fill the news with this kind of reporting; don't have time to talk about the real issues.

Keep people afraid, they are less likely to question the government.

            What's going right with America.

Nuff said. I hope to never hit the east coast, south , central or Alaska ever again.

Montana and the west isnt so bad though, and vermont. perhaps...

I think if we continue down the road of just concentrating on economic policies instead of social ones , we'll end up just the same.

My favourite USA quote - I met an 80 year old woman on a bus in Juneua (sp?) and asked what she thought of her town - "it's better now, we had too many fags and lezzers but a shooting at the glory hole last week made a few less".
