Here: Mayflower Apartments (Tigaki, Greece) - Hotel Reviews - TripAdvisor

Lovely quiet area, beautiful scenery and one of the friendliest islands. Hotel is geared for kids but decent place for grown ups too.

On a variation of the theme,

We're off soon, for 6 weeks. Have suggested 2 weeks in our pad in Poitou, then 4 weeks touring in the motorhome. Any ideas for places camping (wild or not) in and around, I'd say, a triangle twixt La Rochelle, Marseilles and Barcelona?

                Hello.

I'd recommend Morocco IF your children are the adventurous and curious type, but imagine that it may not appear ideal, due to the fact it is a more rustic cultural holiday than a relaxing villa style holiday.

If you avoid Casablanca it can be quite lovely in many places.
                In possession of faculties. Almost.

I don't think I'd let my kids anywhere near the Isle of Bute.

Ideally like to have somekind of arrangement where the 19 month old can run out the vialla / apartment and play whilst wife looks after the 4 month old.

I was thinking possibly the greek islands and hoping between two or three different resorts.

Not averse to bigger complexes that supply kids clubs but would like to have our own space and not forced to mingle with the union jack all inclusive brigade and bingo at 7pm lot.

                      Recommendations please...
I wouldn't be trying to take a sub 1 year old baby anywhere I couldn't get to with the car. From memory the luggage footprint they require is huge.

Centreparcs is probably your best bet. You'll just have to put up a bit with the sort of person they attract.
