Am listening to the alternative commentary from Chris Moyles & Comedy Dave. Very funny jingles ("get up you big girl" etc)

They may have one the battle but trust me they will los the war.... It was good enough to overcome the Vikings but when the Germans or the Italians come knocking the defenses will fail, rest assured.Originally posted by AtW View PostEngland prevailed.
As I said earlier.
It was the same England of old here - nothing new really. They played like a new team against France but revered to old sorts.Comment

England always make a meal of the lesser teams, if you don't know that you've never followed them. What I will never understand is why they always go to pot after taking the lead.
Successions of English premier league teams have gone on to win the champions league despite their perceived shortcomings, I don't see why the national team cant do the same?
Maybe people need to reevaluate what makes a good team??
Ever the optimist.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave JohnsonComment

England give the ball away too easily. Luckily Sweden are probably the weakest side in the competition.
Still, nobody expects England to do well in this tournament, just getting out of the group is a satisfactory target. Ukraine in the last game are also a weak team, so England should qualify, then we can celebrate!

PS Where have all the jocks on here gone? They were happily posting last night, and then nothing!

Still here and stand by my assertions posted pre match that you would not get an easy game.Originally posted by Doggy Styles View PostEngland give the ball away too easily. Luckily Sweden are probably the weakest side in the competition.
