Making the place a misery. Why can't we move the houses of parliament and buckingham palace to somewhere that could do with them? One of those Lancashire mill towns beginning with B?

Why don't we move all of the businesses that have no real need to be in London to some Lancashire mill town, thus bringing jobs to the area rather than tourists who would rather come to see "The Sights of London" not just the Royal Residences and Houses of Parliament.

No brainer really. It would remove the need for the proles to stay and/or work in London. they could move or commute to Lancashire thus further boosting that areas economy.

and it would probably make my commute to Westminster a lot more pleasant without all of those proles to wade through
