Beckham hit two or three sweet flat crosses, like the one that Terry scored from. That's what he is world class at. His cross for Gerrard wasn't world class, it was just lofted in, and anyone in that team can do that.Originally posted by el duder(Beckham's right foot) will win the World Cup.
Unfortunately Becks's engine is going, he can't dribble, he can't tackle, he is poor in the air, he is not fast, and there are other players now who can take free kicks around the box as well as he can.
So yes, we'll do well if Becks can put in a load of flat crosses, and we've got someone on the end of them. Otherwise I'd rather have Lennon.Comment

how could u dare describe those crosses as flat?
did u see the way beckham pinpointed a ball across the field to gerrad in the first half?
did you see the cross he provided to joe coles header in the first half?
did you see the cross he provided on the volley to micheal own in the first half?
and you call them 'flat crosses'
you should be sent to bed, with your teddy young man.Comment

Hmm. It seems to me that you don't understand what a flat cross is.
It is the most dangerous kind, because it is the most difficult trajectory to defend against.
So by saying he put in two or three good flat crosses, I was actually pointing out Beckham's good bits.Comment
