Because Hello Kitty is a big market and many girls (and in Asia Women) love this stuff.

Even Mrs Eek wanted to get on that plane when she saw the food.

If my three year old daughter saw that she would assume she was allowed to wear her pink fairy costume and sit next to Hello Kitty at the front and steer the plane while eating a chocolate lollipop.

It is an abomination against nature.
