Start by making small talk. Then casually mention that you're going to see a new movie and would it like to come along with you? -
Again, you struggle with reading what's written, in that respect you are as thick as AtW. There are presently no 5% ISAs on the market. The best is a 4.5%. I also mentioned I needed the money for cash flow, as a number of existing investments don't pay out until May as I got the timing wrong. All my existing ISAs of which I have a lot are at 5%. The money is destined for a 4.5% one next month. In the meantime I jumped into C&W last week when Tata pulled out of the bid process and used the available cash to gamble that VOD would go through today.Originally posted by Zoiderman View PostYou had last week, you were bragging at how clever you were to have borrowed at 0% and got it into a 5% ISA.
Took you 15 minutes. You even made it clear you thought people who didn't stooze as stupid.
And now you're lying?
Wow.
I did not make it clear that I thought people who didn;t stooze are stupid. I am now making it clear though that you are stupid.

And just to wind AtW up further, having had VOD confirm and C&W accept a bid of 38p it looks like somebodies algortihmic trading software program got a bit confused and tried shorting C&W based on the pattern before.

So last week you were all about stoozing the 'windfall', at 4.5% (I rounded to 5% as I couldn't remember precisely what bollocks you'd put), in 2 ISA's iirc, but now, this week, it's all about shares you've seen rise. Wow...
I think what you ase doing is attempting to appear clever, when it is patently obvious you aren't. You are on the bench, and obviously have lots of time on your hand to pretend.
Fill your boots MF, big yourself up as CUK's own Walter Mitty.Comment

Can rising interest rate really fight off inflation this time round? quite alot of the inflation is effect of inflation in other countries. but on the other side, a lot of people who jumped onto the mortage bus will fall off again once interest rate start to head north.Happy days every day...just keep invoicing.

Rates aren't goign to go up anytime soon. Be madness. The country relies on its housing market to keep the plebs happy. If rates went up a couple of points, and banks already having raised their SVR's and Trackers, fixed terms, then it would be long before the chebang come tumbling down, and with it the government at the next election. Low IR are with us for a good few years yet. Addign 1% to base rates now, would kill the country as it stands.Comment
