I wish, I am actually still working!
A) N0rks - I will fight boobs with moobs, both are equally distracting.
B) Conferring - I think each of the team members post an option and the captain picks one
c) Time Limits - I think it might be tough when it comes to enforcing this, but I guess it will allow the girls something to complain about when we beat them like they stole something!Originally posted by Stevie Wonder BoyI can't see any way to do it can you please advise?

Can we get clarification on spelling (I would say as long as it sounds/looks right we should get the points)Originally posted by EternalOptimist View PostRules.
No googling. The answers on the questionmeisters sheet are final, even if they are wrong.
Bear in mind it is a browser quiz, the questionmeister can only submit every thirty seconds.
Starter questions must be answered within one minute, bonus questions within 30 seconds.
The first answer from the team is the only one that is valid, answers from the audience will be ignored. For bonus questions, the first answers from the captain(only) will be accepted
If your team do not get the starter, please do not answer the bonus questions.
There will be a prompt at the end of each bonus round with the subject of the next starter, with a minutes grace to allow some team strategy.
The CUK Olympic Year University Challenge III will start at 19:00 CUK time, and there will be a new thread at five minutes to called University Challenge III
Please sign in before 19:00 so your captain knows you are around

Do we buzz then give the answer when called upon (I would say no) or just type the answer (probably best)Originally posted by Stevie Wonder BoyI can't see any way to do it can you please advise?

yes common sense rools, plus there are a few where I have it specified, spelling doesnt matter, within 10% etcOriginally posted by SimonMac View PostCan we get clarification on spelling (I would say as long as it sounds/looks right we should get the points)

as soon as you see the starter question - start typeing. I will give you a minutes warning that a question is coming.
for the bonus questions, wait a little, 15s (for your team to chip in), then start typing.
they are all designed to have snappy answers. just be wary of the 30 second resend delay
(so dont try to stagger your answers.)
most important - its just a bit of fun.(\__/)

I laughed out loud reading the last one, especially when Pogle stumbled in half-way through. Probably clutching a double voddie and coke.Comment
