In some bits of the Third World you get the trots even when the water is boiled. I took the slightly harder route of getting accustomed to the tap water and eventually it paid off, managing to avoid the trots when I'd eaten and drunk the same stuff as my colleagues.

And chuckled to myself when they suddenly made a mad dash for the bigs.

News that drought won’t lead to water cannon ban gives hope to disaffected gardeners

Was listening on the radio to the latest proclamation from the Environment Agency announcing the extension of the drought notification to the Midlands and some spokespeople from the water companies blah blah-ing about we should all pull together to save water as it's the worst drought since 1976 (aka the best summer ever)

I wanted the R4 presenter to ask how much water storage capacity has been increased in the SE since 1976 to ensure security of supply and contrast that with the increase in number of households (ergo population) in the SE since 1976
How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think

And here was me thinking it did nothing but rain all summer last year, apart from a brief sunny spell in May and the beginning of October.

Even when you make sensible suggestion you manage to get immigration angle into it.
