Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.
I preferred version 1! -
Wouldn't be working on an e-gov project by any chance, Chef?Originally posted by chefi have just finished my "Life contemplation" period of around 2 months and now am back in the saddle surrounded by permies, all of whom are moaning about who is/isnt being "kept in the loop" in internal mails from various managers all requesting work.. oh the joys
meanwhile the systems are ****ed and permenantly down (permie dba's), the project is so far beyond deadline its now a dot on the hyperthetical horizon behind us and all contractors are laughing at being asked to work weekend for double pay.. hurrah"My God, it's huge!!"

Contract that was meant to be for a few months, but ended up being nearly 3 years, expires next month. The client's HR dept is refusing another renewal even though the management want me to continue. Can't be bothered to fight it so am going to take 2 months off and do very little. I do intend to be sober for sections of it, though.Comment
