      3 hours prepping yesterday

      3 hours this morning.

Still have bread to make, marinade the fish in the chermoula, assemble the borek and make the jewelled rice.

If you have any chermoula left over, it's great in walnut soup.

Good grief norrahe, you need your hubby to be Sous-Chef de Cuisine to get all that done!

Anyway, with your culinary skill, I'm sure everything will be just fantastic. It sounds fab!

Mr N has just loaded the dishwasher and is cleaning down for me

I've also had him on spice grinding duty.

I also decided to make the dessert myself instead of going to the Turkish shop and getting their ( very nice) baklava.

Cardamom and vanilla pudding with orange and almonds.

            *phew*

Thanks for that, I think I just have enough for the marinade, but will give it a go.

Do you have a recipe for the soup?

                Wow! That is absolutely fantastic!

Please, please, please take some photos for what is going to be a truly wonderful banquet!

Right, I'm off to get some local ingredients to pitifully engage in the first virtual CUK Masterchef competition, although I believe that the hyperD padawan is about to feel the realisation of the true culinary consequences from the masterful Dark Sith Lord of Cuisine!
