Plan b has been on hold for a few years, so hopefully I can pay off the mortgage and then start concentrating on plan b.

Would like to get to the stage that I'm not on client sites as much, but will have to see what the future holds
Same here and i'm only just over a year contracting. It's funny that i'm following in my father's footsteps as he made the jump from perm to contractor at almost the same age but unlike him I didn't have plans to retire at 40 and play golf in the sun for the rest of my days.

I am looking at 17 years for the mortgage to disappear so hope that Plan B will take off so this can be paid off even sooner.
