Harry seems like the fans favourite, but so was Keegan and look how that finished.

I think its good he resigned over a matter that he cares about rather than be scape goated after the euros.

Hiddink for a short term secondment, then the FA can take stock and look properly.

I don't mind Harry coming in, but as other have said he won't take it until after the summer as he would lose his cut on the Bale transfer

The england hotspurs team could be in for a big shake up and could look like
    <A.N.Other>
    Walker - Dawson - King - Cole
    Lennon - Parker - Lampard - <A.N.other>
    Rooney - Defoe

One from the loft field but how about Nigel Cough.

Done really well in the lower leagues; another Peter Taylor.

How come we had so much fuss about the RBS boss being paid £1.2 million for running a large important company, yet I have not seen anything said about paying someone £6 million for running a team of overpaid prima donna's.

            Excellent point.

I did write to the FA and offer to do the job on the grounds that as long as I got the 6 mill I wouldn't win anything either.
              Just saying like.

Harry Redknapp should replace Fabio Capello - Rooney

BBC Sport - Harry Redknapp should replace Fabio Capello - Rooney

The ape always plays rubbish for England. I wish his wages could be tied to his England performance.

Because Cappello's wage came indirectly from Sky sports subscriptions, WGAS about that?

In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

Because only an English manager can understand the English players properly to play the English game the way that the English think it should be played.

(And definitely not to pander to the press)

Whoever takes the job on is on a hiding to nothing.

England do badly - well, he took over a sinking ship and even he couldn't turn that around.

England do well - he took over a sinking ship and look how well he did!

All I can hope for is that they don't end up shooting themselves in the foot again and go for a long-term, expensive appointment that the FA can't afford to terminate if they want to (Sven, Steve, Fabio)
