I was offered a ten percent cut by a big legal client
Told them to stuff it, the two significant gigs I've had since then have been a twenty and a ten percent increase respectively
A renewal on a lower rate is a piss-take, don't do it!Comment

10% cut, just renew and take the piss and when you can be bothered and the market picks up go for a 20%-30% increase in your next role ! boomed, show them your ar*e as you walk out the door.Comment
