I agree, after all they raided people's pensions which was very opportunist. Lewis Hamiliton decided to upsticks to Monaco to avoid taxation and he earns stoooopid amounts of money and there are many like him who do the same. Surely there is some way to get to these peopleOriginally posted by BrilloPad View PostBut trying to get back the hedge funds who went to Geneva to avoid the 50% tax would be nice.In Scooter we trust

Make it illegal to be rich. Throw all rich people into jail unless they hand over all their money.Originally posted by The Spartan View PostI agree, after all they raided people's pensions which was very opportunist. Can't we introduce a law like in the US where citizens pay tax on their global earnings?Originally posted by The Spartan View PostI agree, after all they raided people's pensions which was very opportunist. Lol I see what you're saying Mich, still like BrilloPad said taxing them on their global earnings would be a start.Originally posted by Mich the Tester View PostNot unless you own a very fast car and know how to drive it.
Lewis Hamiliton was born here and this is where he was given the opportunity to become the driver he is and then he chooses to live in Switzerland (not Monaco my bad) because like other F1 drivers he wants to avoid taxationIn Scooter we trust

It is unlikely that anyone with a half decent tax advisor who has their own business or is self employed will pay any more than 35% of their income in tax anyway. There is no morality about paying tax anymore anyway, but because so much of it is squandered and is clearly better spent on throwing toga parties than being spent on keeping people out of work.Let us not forget EU open doors immigration benefits IT contractors more than anyoneComment
