Maybe but we can't go cluttering up our flag with symbols from every county, region and principality of England. The Welsh are covered by the Cross of St George and should be proud of it.

No. The Welsh flag is a relatively recent marketing construct and has no historical presence. Besides which, Wales is actually part of England, like Cornwall or The independent republic of Yorkshire, so it is covered by the cross of St George.
