My brother purchased the biggest house (3 storey 5 bed, double garage) on this new estate and he is a mechanic and has a scruffy old van parked on the drive, the sparkle clean lady says to him " are you here doing rectifications I thought the building work was finished on this house" she thought he was a builder
thats my thoughts exactly, how do you build up an inmune system if your not exposed to bugs.
You can not build inmuty to bacteria, only viruses.
Staphylococcus aureus bacteria are present in the nasal passages.
Eating food infected with Vibrio causes diarrhea, abdominal cramping, nausea and headache.
Eating food contaminated with listeria bacteria can cause an infection called listeriosis, along with meningitis.
Clostridium botulinum bacteria is a nerve toxin that can cause botulism.
E. coli bacteria can cause bloody diarrhea and sometimes kidney failure.

Seriously what is it with this fad for anti-bacterial gel. Maybe during an actual epidemic it's justifiable, but like taxes, it seems set to remain a fixture in many places. I refuse to use it on principle... humans ARE dirty, bacteria are part of us.
What you are missing is peoples hygiene ...
Bacteria is part of us and helps our immune system, but if someone doesnt wash their hands after going to the toilet and you get a small amount of fecal matter taken in to your system, that could cause cholera. A cholera outbreak in London happened because a sewer was leaking near a water pump, anyone in London can even visit the pub named after John Snow. Even diluted fecal matter can kill you.
There is a difference between over sterilising your environment and just common sense in not consuming harmful bacteria deliberately. Good hygiene isnt anything to be embarrassed about and I fail to see why inbreds keep arguing against that fact.
PS: Cant be bothered to check which ginger it is that accused me of being a troll in the rep system, but I was serious about sterilising after a ginger. Please keep your grubby diseased ginger rep off my profile you little freak of nature, I dont want to catch your daywalker disease.

I was brought up on a farm my grandad used to butcher the pigs on the kitchen table, we dranks milk straight from the tank after milking before it was pasturised and we ran around in fields full of cow tulip all day long, neither me or my 3 brothers spent much time at home ill, unlike some of the kids today who are always suffering with some ailment or another because there all wrapped in cotton wool and not exposed to anything
Like d000hg says all this anti bacterial its all overkill

Ok, don't wash your hands after a poo then.

Everytime unlike some in this department i could mention, its like wim121 says"There is a difference between over sterilising your environment and just common sense in not consuming harmful bacteria deliberately"
Its the over sterilisation thats the problem and the more you do it the more bugs will become immune to the antibacterial
