I'm the same clipster. Waiting for the council crane to come and move the debris blocking the culvert at the end of my garden. Water is up over the bridge already.

All the major problems are down your way this morning. I got the ferry over but couldn't get on to the M/Way so got the ferry back and RASd in from home. The joys of Island life.....

Abandoned the attempt walking to the village shop, four feet of water in places according to drivers in stuck cars.

A mate of mine will try and get to my place later with supplies in his 4x4.

I'd walk through four feet of water if I'd run out of cigs

Still, at least that fire'll be out.

          Been pretty bad here too.
          River's nearly into my pond.

It must be great for someone like Cliphead who has Alzheimers.

He lives in Scotland where it pisses down with rain everyday and so every morning is like
'Oh look rain. How exciting. Can't remember the last time I saw that'

Not something to make fun of. I remember when my gran was suffering from it.

Although, I did appreciate the £50 I got for my birthday, every week.

Since the house is 300ft up a hill flooding has never been a problem before.

It's winter in Scotland so it rains, big deal. Do you southerners dissolve in the rain or what?

If you sold the surplus back to the grid you could literally be making money in your sleep!!
How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think

I'll actually need to look into this. Have a small stream in my garden (well, it's a ******* river today) but there is a small wterfall type thing at the back of the garden where it comes through a concrete tube under the road, so it is always moving.

Anyone have any idea of places who provide kit for projects like this ?
