You do realise Suity that all those so-called excuses, especially the request for a walkthrough, were their way, rightly or wrongly, of telling you they didn't fully understand the requirements?

If they don't understand the requirements, then they can only blame the person who wrote the requirements specification.

And they will.

And because there are more of them than there are of him, they will win the argument, the implication being that if a whole group of people can't understand the document then the document must be at fault.

I get this only too loud and clear. It would seem the model is sell it cheap then figure out if they have the capability after. The fact they don't even appear to have read and understood the requirements is really really frightening.
