Sorry, that sounded like one-upmanship, it wasn't supposed to be.

It just means that I can access the e-books where and when I need to.
      Dumb comment.

I though Kindle was the actual handheld. It's an App as well?

I go on holiday to 'do' things and go places, not just sit and read - I can do that at home.
It was a chill out holiday - you're right, you can lie around doing feck all at home in theory. But in practice, it happens very rarely, and never with fantastic weather, amazing views and sun-lounger bar service!

I tell you what mate, with analytical skills like yours on show I'm surprised you ever find work.

Can anybody else spot the flaw in Suity's post?

Given that Amazon probably pay a million gazillion dollars per year for legal representation and you're not a qualified solicitor, on balance I'd say Amazon are probably well within there "Ts & Cs", you have read them, right?
I have not read them yet. But I still fail to see how amazon can attempt to make a charge against my card for a problem with a gift to another person. Even their own support person couldn't explain why they has tried to do that. Under that logic, any gift bought through amazon would forever be linked to the original purchaser. There is no valid reason why I should be expected to pay anything towards a warranty replacement on a gift bought for somebody and worse still, be charged without my knowledge.
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

                  I preferred version 1!

Sounds great! It's probably just me, I don't like just lying around soaking up the sun. I get bored too quickly, I'd rather be off exploring.
