i was in a car with some mates in the late 70's, driving from reading into London, when we saw a sports car up ahead in the slow lane.

The driver must have been doing 40, and his arm was out waving at anyone who cared to look, he had long flowing blonde hair and a big cigar in his gob.
we waved and yelled, and he looked at us with a cracking smile. and waved again
