    Contractor : "38"

Agent : "Well, I don't think they'll pay that but I'll do my best"

    ....

Agent : "I've managed to get you 33 and we'll try for an increase at renewal."

    Contractor : "Erm... OK..."

    ....

It now turns out that the agent is billing the us at £48 per hour...

Dodgy, if only all agents were as honest as you!!!
The free market economy at it's best.

You have to admire agents who buy low and sell high.

Women who faff around in their handbags to find their purses and them faff around in their purses to find the right card to pay with and then faff around trying to find the bit of paper they wrote their PIN on while I'm behind them in the queue.

Thats excellent advice (probably), but I cant be bothered with cycling. I need to shed a few pounds and have decided that swimming is for me (partly because its good excercise, and also because there is usually totty in the pool and I have some good goggles ! )
Any advice for weight loss via swimming ?

I find cycling a great idea, especially when like last summer you have lots of nice young things in short summer dresses cycling along and the occassional light breeze. Best viewed from a cafe with a nice cold beer I find.

PS: don't expect this sort of thing in the UK any time soon.
