Oh, and where the f**k is the "Isle of Greece"?

Would definitely recommend it if you like great country side, great buildings, great food and great looking women. Nobody speaks English though so you have to learn basic Italian to get by. You can get a train right round the coast. That's what I did - got on and off in various places. One of the best trips i've done.

Typical aussie everyone knows that Sicily is part of New Zealand

The authentic Italian side of Greece really is lovely.

              Tit.
Practically perfect in every way....there's a time and (more importantly) a place for malarkey.

Where would be a good place/backpack trip to
                take?
Hi - my family and I went to Corfu at near the end of kids school holidays. I'd been a few times before when I was far younger (16-17 yrs old) and I know things change .....

All I can say is Greece is on it's a..rse/skidrow. Place we stayed was nice, but outside the development - half the places were closed down/boarded up.

We went a few places around the Island - and that appeared to be the norm.

Sorry - might be not what you wanted to hear. If I were you - spend your money here. as Greece is going down the pan.

Saying that it could be an experience of a lifetime - sunning yourself while the Country tears itself apart.

Very altruistic of you sas. No point in adding to the throng.

If SAS moved to Australia, it would raise the average IQ of BOTH countries
