Looks like the fuzz have realised it's easy to have undercover officers mingling with the rioters, picking off ring leaders and stragglers.

Maybe next they'll realise if they set up a fake shop in a hot zone as a honey pot, and plant RFID tags and homing beacons in the good on display they can track and catch the scrotes.

Though maybe they prefer a door to door smash and grab on the dodgy estates, giving them a taste of their own medicine.
